Uniforms and Equipment

Poilu In this section you will find uniform, equipment and arms guidelines for the 151e R.I. Please note that our main impression is of a late-war (1917-1918) French infantryman. As such, any new recruits should focus on acquiring those items required for a late-war appearance (please see Where to Start). It is our firm belief that as both individuals and a unit, it is essential to continue evolving one's impression. In this sense, one can never say definitively that they have a 'complete' kit. Holding ourselves to the highest level of standards means constantly improving upon what we think and do. As our knowledge and understanding of the Great War and the French soldier increases, we strive to incorporate these developments into our impressions. See our list of approved vendors.
